I'm Natalia — a London-based product designer currently at Marshmallow, where I've shipped a 0→1 home insurance product and worked across retention, acquisition and telematics. I like talking to customers, sweating the details, and the quiet satisfaction of making something work properly.
Marshmallow's first expansion beyond car insurance — a 0→1 home insurance product that launched in January 2025 after a previous attempt had stalled three years earlier.
A conversion experiment on the quote page — reimagining how customers move between cover options, validated through A/B testing and user research.
How clearer questions, plainer language and earlier eligibility helped customers understand what they were declaring — and stopped them from cancelling later.
A design exploration for a mobile app that lets customers track their energy usage, submit meter readings, and manage payments — anywhere.
I'm quiet at first and pretty genuine once you get to know me. I love the craft of design — the UI details, the copy on screens, the little things people don't notice until they're wrong. I've been told I'm good with UI, which I take as a real compliment because I care about it a lot.
Most of my work has been in consumer experiences where design has to hold its own against commercial constraints, regulatory requirements and engineering realities. I like talking to customers, and I like going back to fix copy and flows after you've heard what they actually think.
Professionally: five years across fintech, insurance, energy and ed-tech. Currently at Marshmallow, previously at So Energy, with earlier contract work in ed-tech and brand design. I studied graphic design and social media marketing and graduated top of my class.
Outside of work: long walks, the gym, skincare rabbit holes, and a long-standing dream of one day living by the sea.
